This is the sheet music for "Für Dich". You will receive 2 versions; a simpler version (1stVersion) that's easier to read, and a more accurate version (2ndVersion) to show the voicing in this piece, but both contain the information you need to play it. I did this because I wanted to show the voicing in this piece and separate the melody line with the filler notes, but that version (2nd version) might be a little difficult to read for some of you, so just to make your life a little easier, I made a simpler version that might be easier for you to read and learn off.

It's 4/5 pages long and is about 4 minutes. Thank you for looking into this piece, I hope you have fun playing it! If anything is too complicated or you want it notated in a different way please get in touch, I’ll do my best to help in any way I can.

Playing Notes:

  • I wrote 2 versions of sheet music for this piece because I feel like the 2nd version might be a little complicated for some of you. I made it to show the voicing in this piece as there is a melody line which is backed up with filler notes in the RH (right hand) so I wanted to separate the RH melody line and the RH filler notes.

  • Using the 2nd version, I recommend practicing the melody line of this piece. It’s simple if you cut out the RH filler notes, so play the top voice in the RH with the LH (left hand) until you feel like you’ve got it, then add in the second voice (the filler notes in the RH)

  • Watch for Clef changes, in both hands. This piece uses a lot of the higher range of the piano, so I changed the clef a lot to make it easier for you to read.

  • I added a treble clef with a little 8 above it, watch out for that as this piece goes quite high; the 8 just means to play the notes an octave higher. (I lowered the notes but wrote it in treble clef that indicated to play 1 octave higher)

  • Also watch for the octave lines, indicating to play an octave lower or higher

  • When Forte is indicated, really exaggerate it, go all out, and play it with a lot of passion, but don’t rush! You will want to play faster, and you’ll think it’ll make the piece sound more expressive, but for me I think it’s sounds nicer when the tempo doesn’t change too much. Lift the Tempo up slightly if you wish but don’t let it get out of hand.

  • You will want to rush the bars where crescendo is indicated (e.g., bars 13 -16) but don’t change the tempo. It’s building at that point so rushing will be a natural thing you’ll want to do. It’s not the tempo that makes it expressive it’s the dynamics that will build it, so keep it steady!

  • Accent the melody line (Top voice)

  • Pedalling should be lifted every bar unless indicated otherwise, but feel free to experiment if you find something that works better for you.

  • I have exaggerated the voicing in the 2nd version a little but all I’m trying to show is that you should accent and hold the melody line on a little.

  • Feel free to experiment with the LH, I do it all the time. Play runs or change the pattern a little, just try things and see what works for you.

  • Bars 52 and 53, and bars 78 and 79; The RH and LH should flow into each other and connect.

  • Play bar 81 and 82 freely
