Lunacy is a three-piece original neoclassical instrumental ensemble featuring two classically trained violinists and a classically trained pianist. Composing their own music the trio creates immersive instrumental music that bridges the worlds of contemporary classical and modern music.
Following the release of their debut single, "Addicted," the group has also contributed to a range of acclaimed film and television soundtracks composed byJames Everett, including the Channel 5 drama series Ellis and Colum Eastwood's feature film The Morrigan. Their performances can also be heard in the award-winning short films The Magic Spade, Wake, and Sins of Sinclair.
The ensemble has performed at weddings, private events, festivals, competitions, and showcase events across Northern Ireland. Festival appearances include Strandford Festival, Castle Gardens Light Festival, and Taking Up Space Festival. They have also featured in prestigious showcases and competitions, including The Signal Foundation's Opera House Showcase, Translink Grand Pianist, and Cool FM's Boost Busker Corner.
With a distinctive blend of classical musicianship and modern cinematic composition, Lunacy continues to establish itself as an exciting new voice in the neoclassical music scene.
