Intro
Celine Egan is a German/Irish composer and musician, who started out by teaching herself piano at the age of 14. A few years later she began her composition journey by writing solo piano pieces and eventually breaking into new styles and genres.
Celine has now found her voice with a distinctive soundscape merging classical piano and orchestral instruments with modern electronic elements.
Releases and Features
She has released a number of piano solos as well as an orchestral EP and multiple short film scores. Her most recent project was featuring and composing on a new song called “From Above,” with composer James Everett and vocalist Sara-Louise Hutton. The song has had thousands of views, and secured Celine an interview on NVTV and a play through of the song on UTV live.
She’s worked with multiple musicians and bands on projects, releasing an EP last year with a rock group, and currently is working with a new original metal band to write, release and gig original tracks. Her style here takes from what we know of her solo career, intense and soaring synths, ominous pads, utilising her trademark arpeggios in a more modern and captivating way. She also performs her music regularly with her trio group in festivals, competitions, weddings etc.
Celine has also collaborated with mutable directors and writers, composing the music award winning short films.
Qualifications
Celine has her Trinity College London Classical Piano Grade 8, ABRSM Music Theory Grade 5 and a Music Diploma.
